West Side Story

Monday, April 21, 2014

The classic story of Romeo and Juliet turned into a turf war in 1950s NYC.  The Jets and the Sharks are squaring off against each other…as two of their number fall inexorably in love.

This is the show that changed musical theatre forever by demanding that the performers be “triple-threats;” strong in dancing, acting and singing. Fifty years later, this quintessential revival continues to thrill audiences.

Sponsored by Southern Ohio Medical Center and USEC Inc.

West Side Story is recommended for ages 13+.  Please be advised that there is mild violence, mature themes and dialogue.

Tickets for lower tier seating are $60 regular, $50 senior, $44 students, $20 children under 12. Prices lower in upper tier. Discounts for families.

“West Side Story remains Broadway’s best dance-driven musical.  Five decades have not dimmed the extraordinary choreography or the score that pulsates throughout.”  The Associated Press
