Presenting “Pops at New York’s Carnegie Hall”

We are proud to open SOPAA’s 2010-2011 series by continuing our tour of great Ohio orchestras. The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will make its first appearance at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts with a tribute to the performers, ensembles and popular hits performed at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall, home of not only classical music, but also the venerable music hall that hosted memorable performances by Benny Goodman, Judy Garland, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and many blues and jazz artists.
