Monty Python’s Spamalot

A new musical (lovingly) ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

SPAMALOT tells the oft-told and legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and their quest for the Holy Grail, featuring a bevy of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits, and an armless and legless knight.

With a book by Eric Idle (a Python alum) and score by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, SPAMALOT is praised by another Pythonite this way, “I defy anyone to go and not have a really fun evening. It’s the silliest thing I’ve ever seen ….”

The New York Times says it “raises silliness to an art form.”
