DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE ANNIE MOSES BAND CONCERT IS POSTPONED TO FRIDAY, MARCH 6 AT 7:30 PM
The Annie Moses Band, which is named after the family’s great grandmother, is an award-winning family of seven Juilliard-trained musicians and songwriters whose roots are in classical, jazz, and Christian music. The voice of Annie Wolaver, the lead singer, is described as clear and beautiful, and a mixture of Dolly Parton and Celtic Woman.
The music of the Annie Moses Band is hard to place into a category or genre, and it is one reason they are so refreshing. Their classical background with a salting of country and bluegrass flows together with a bit of ethereal Celtic air.
Joining The Annie Moses Band will be special guest Joshua Carswell, (http://www.joshuacarswell.com/) a winner of the American Traditions Competition, one of the nation’s most prestigious vocal contests. Carswell began his “professional” singing career at age three when a woman in his congregation promised “I will make you brownies if you will sing again.” He hasn’t stopped since.
