The “Send a Kid” Program was started by and anonymous individual donating 5 student concert series tickets to be used by area high school students. The hope and idea was that area students would come to appreciate the fine arts and would become future supporters of the arts.
The program has grown and through the generosity of area organizations, businesses and individuals, SOPAA now offers to all area students a reduced ticket price for selected shows.
Participation in the arts is known to enrich the lives of adults and children. Because of this, we hope in the future we can offer a discounted student ticket to all shows! Please help introduce the fine arts to our area students by donating to this great program.
